Car Rental Rewards

  1. Reward Certificate must be surrendered at time of rental and will be deemed fully used once the rental has commenced. Reservations must be confirmed via the car rental company's central reservation system at least 24 hours in advance of rental. You must advise the reservationist that the booking is a Hilton HHonors Reward rental. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of the reservation and denial of car rental.
  2. At the discretion of the car rental Partner, Rewards are subject to restricted dates which limit usage at certain time periods. In addition, they are subject to capacity controls which limit the number of cars available for redemption.
  3. Participating Avis and Thrifty locations for Reward redemption are limited to U.S. and international cities in which HHonors hotels participate, with the exception of Hong Kong. Avis rewards are available at participating U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico locations only. Alamo and National rewards are valid at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada.
  4. Reward redemption is not available at all car rental locations. Certain free day and free weekend day awards are not available in the N.Y. Metro area. For details on participating locations, and to make your Reward reservations, call the applicable car rental Partner.

  6. Car Partner Rewards are nontransferable and may be used only by the individual named on the Reward Certificate. If a person other than the individual named on the Certificate attempts to redeem it, the Certificate will be deemed void, and accommodations/transportation will be denied.
  7. Rewards may not be sold, bartered or purchased. Any Rewards obtained in this manner by any person or entity will be considered to be fraudulently obtained and will be deemed void if transferred for cash or other consideration. Altered Reward Certificates are void and will not be honored.
  8. Reward Certificates cannot be redeemed or substituted for cash, prizes or credit. Rewards are not exchangeable.
  9. Rewards and Reward Certificates may not be combined with other certificates, discounts, packages, special rates or promotional offers, and are void where prohibited by law. Reward rentals are not commissionable to any source.
  10. Car Rental Reward Certificates will not be replaced, reissued or credited if lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed. Hilton is not responsible for the performance of the U.S. Postal Service or other suppliers.
  11. Certificates are void where prohibited or restricted by law.
  12. Hilton is not responsible or liable for transportation or other services National, Avis, Sixt rent a car or Thrifty may fail to provide.
  13. HHonors points may not be earned when redeeming an HHonors Car Rental Reward, unless specifically indicated by relevant Terms and Conditions.
  14. Car Rental Reward Certificates must be surrendered at the time of car pickup, and only one Certificate may be used per rental (please note you can combine Avis awards for multiple free days). Maximum rental length when using upgrade Certificates is two weeks. Unused free Reward days will be forfeited, and no residual credit or refunds will be issued if the Certificate is not fully used.
  15. Specific cars are subject to availability. Avis Rewards available on Intermediate (Group C) through Full Size, 4-Door (Group E) cars.
  16. Discounted and upgrade Rewards apply to rates and car categories determined by the individual car rental company. Avis and Thrifty: When using an upgrade Reward, reserve the size of car you wish to pay for. Upon arrival at the rental counter, present the Reward Certificate. If a larger car is available, car size will be upgraded one class, at no increase in price reserved.
  17. Certificates not valid on one way rentals. Cars must be returned to the original renting location or the Reward will be deemed invalid and rental charged at regular published rate in effect at time and place of rental.
  18. HHonors Car Rental Rewards do not include taxes, fuel service, supplemental liability insurance, optional personal accident insurance/personal effects coverage, optional collision/loss damage waiver (CDW, PDW, LDW, PAI, PEC, PAE, SLI and EP, where available), mileage charges in excess of mileage allowances, airport access fees, surcharges and any rental days beyond the Reward period. Major credit card, age, and valid driver's license requirements as stated in the car rental agreement apply. Driving violations and accidents may disqualify the renter. For a complete list of criteria, please call 1-888-999-0010 from North America. Rentals may be subject to driver record review. Renter must meet age, driver and credit requirements.
  19. Car Rental Rewards are valid for one year unless otherwise stated on the face of the Certificate.
  20. Car Rental Rewards may include a limited number of miles per rental day, with a charge for excess miles. Mileage limits are based upon policy in effect at the time and place of redemption of Reward Certificate.
  21. Specific car classes are subject to change without notice. Renter is responsible for the difference in rates if a larger car class is chosen instead of the one stated on the Reward Certificate.
  22. Renter will not be eligible to receive credit for frequent traveler bonus miles/points when using a Car Rental Reward Certificate.
  23. Certificates must be used for consecutive rental days.
  24. Thrifty Rewards must be in conjunction with a Hotel Reward request and may not be combined with any other Thrifty offers or discounts.

  25. Definition of Weekly Rentals:

    • Alamo: five to seven consecutive days.
    • Avis: five to seven consecutive days.
    • Budget Rent A Car: five to seven consecutive days.
    • National: five to seven consecutive days.
    • Thrifty: seven consecutive days.
    • Sixt rent a car: seven consecutive days.

    Weekend Rentals:

    • Alamo: 12 p.m. (noon) Thursday through 12 p.m. (noon) Monday.
    • Avis: Thursday to 11:59 p.m. Monday.
    • Budget Rent A Car: Thursday to 11:59 p.m. Monday.
    • National: Saturday night keep required. 12 p.m. (noon) Thursday through 12 p.m. (noon) Monday.
    • Thrifty: 12 p.m. (noon) Thursday through 12 p.m. (noon) Monday.
    • Sixt rent a car: 12 p.m. (noon) Friday through 9a.m. Monday.

 

Alamo Rent A Car

  4. Not valid in San Jose, California or Manhattan, New York.

One Free Week

  2. 1DAV offer valid for one (1) weekly or weekend day, free of the daily time and mileage charge of a Compact through Intermediate size car available at participating locations in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico
  3. 2DAV offer valid for two (2) consecutive weekly or weekend days, free of the daily time and mileage charge of a Compact through Intermediate size car available at participating locations in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico
  4. For Free Day awards, 1DAV and 2DAV upgraded vehicle cost (up to a full size car - group D/E) is the sole responsibility of the Award Member
  5. Voucher holder is responsible for making a reservation with Avis at least 24 hours in advance. Advise the agent you are using an Avis Award and mention AWD number and coupon number listed on the front of the certificate issued.
  6. Member is responsible for additional rental days not covered by this Award.
  7. One Car Class Upgrade

  3. Optional products such as LDW ($28.99/day or less, except in Louisiana $49.99/day) and refueling are extra.

Free day is prorated against the base rate of the entire rental period, which does not include taxes (including VAT/GST), governmentally-authorized or imposed surcharges, license recoupment/air tax recovery and concession recoupment fees, airport and airport facility fees, fuel, additional driver fee, one-way rental charge or optional items.
  5. Vehicle must not be picked up before weekend rates are available on Thursday and must not be returned before the immediately following Sunday. For more information on weekend rate start times at your pick-up location, please check with a National booking agent when making your reservation.
  6. Vehicle must be returned no later than the immediately following Monday on or before the time the rental began or higher extra day rates may apply.

Sixt rent a car

  1. Coupon is not transferable, not refundable, not redeemable for cash.
  2. Lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced and have no refundable cash value.
  3. No award refunds once rental has commenced. Original certificate must be surrendered at time of rental and is void once redeemed.
  4. Terms and conditions, blackout dates and locations are subject to change without notice.
  5. Credit card and valid drivers license of the person named on the voucher must be presented at the time of pickup.
  6. Minimum age on hiring: 19-25 years of age (depending on vehicle category and the country where the car is hired).
  7. Unlimited mileage included.
  8. Limited liability for damage to the hired car (CDW) included - excess ranges from EUR 0 - EUR 1,875 (depending on the vehicle category and the country where is hired).
  9. Offer does not include any additional charges, such as optional insurances, airport surcharges, petrol, optional equipment, etc.
  10. Car must be returned to the original rental location. One-way rentals upon request.

Thrifty Car Rental

  1. If this is a free-day certificate, this certificate covers the cost of time and mileage only.
  2. This certificate does not cover charges for items such as fuel, taxes, optional coverage/waivers, extra hours or drop-off fees, etc.
  3. Valid at the reserved rental location only; for indicated days only.
  4. If vehicle is returned early, no refund will be given on the unused portion.
  5. Thrifty Car Rental Reward Certificate must be presented at the Thrifty Car Rental counter upon arrival, and will be deemed fully used once the rental has commenced.
  6. Reward Certificates will not be replaced, reissued or credited if lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed. Hilton is not responsible for performance of the U.S. Postal Service or other suppliers.
  7. One-way rentals are not permitted and all vehicles must be returned to the original rental location or the Thrifty Car Reward will be deemed invalid and rental will be charged at regular published rate in effect at time and place of rental.
  8. Discounted and Upgrade Rewards apply to rates and car categories determined by Thrifty Car Rental and are subject to availability at time of rentals. When using a Thrifty Car Rental Upgrade Reward, reserve the size car you wish to pay for. Upon arrival at the rental counter, present the Reward Certificate. The upgrade offer TY1U is valid only up to full-size cars and is not combinable with any other offers.
  9. Thrifty Car Rental Rewards include a limited number of miles per rental with a charge for excess miles. Mileage limits are based upon policy in effect at the time and place of redemption of the Thrifty Reward Certificate.
  10. Thrifty Car Rental rewards may not be combined or used in conjunction with any other certificates, travel industry discounts, or rates, or any other discount or promotional rates.
  11. Specific car classes are subject to change without notice. Renter is responsible for the difference in rates if a larger car class is chosen instead of the one stated on the Reward Certificate.
  12. Reward Certificates expire one year from date of issue unless otherwise noted.

 

Rail Travel


Amtrak®

  1. Award certificates are valid one year from the date of issuance and only for the award stated. Award certificates cannot be used in conjunction with other Amtrak promotions or offers.
  2. Award certificates are round trip for two and include train fare, and when applicable sleeper accommodations, meals and a beverage of choice. Gratuities are not included.
  3. You must book your travel at least 30 days in advance of your departure date. To redeem your certificate, call the Amtrak Partner Travel Desk at 1-866-526-8725 to make your reservation, weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Eastern time), then mail the original award certificate to Amtrak Partner Travel Desk, P.O. Box 14472, Philadelphia, PA 19115. Upon receipt, Amtrak shall mail your tickets by first-class mail.
  4. Travel dates and times are subject to availability. Travel blackout dates may apply. No stopovers are permitted.
  5. You can exchange tickets only for a different travel date or time. Exchanged tickets are valid only for the same level of service, when available, or a lower level of service (e.g., first class to business class). Upgrades are not available, even for an additional cost. Exchanges requested by mail must be made at least 21 days prior to your departure date, please call 1-866-526-8725 to change your reservation. Exchanges within 21 days of departure can be made at an Amtrak ticket office.
  6. If an exchange of tickets is needed due to a service disruption, Amtrak will book you on the next available train at the same level of service.
  7. Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash or credit. Tickets may not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. Tickets are invalid if sold, purchased, bartered, altered or defaced in any way. Photocopies will not be accepted.
  8. Award certificates are non-transferable and will not be refunded or replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed or expired. Award certificates are invalid if sold, purchased, bartered, altered or defaced in any way. Award certificates are not redeemable for cash, credit, points or miles. Photocopies of award certificates will not be accepted.
  9. You cannot earn Amtrak Guest Rewards points for travel using the award certificate.
  10. You must provide the promotion code, award number, and form of payment code to book your trip and receive a reservation number.
  11. If you do not receive your Amtrak tickets within 14 days of booking your trip, please call the Amtrak Partner Award Desk at 1-866-526-8725.

American Express - Hilton HHonors® Card

  1. Usage of the Hilton HHonors Card from American Express® is subject to the Terms and Conditions set forth in the Hilton HHonors American Express Cardmember Agreement.
  2. You will receive 6 HHonors bonus points for each U.S. dollar of Eligible Spending on the Card at any Hilton Family hotel worldwide (excluding Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare purchases and package sales). You will receive 6 HHonors bonus points for each U.S. dollar of Eligible Spending at the following categories of merchants, excluding warehouse clubs and superstores: supermarkets; drug stores; stand-alone gas stations; and home telephone, wireless, cable, satellite TV and internet service providers. You will receive 3 HHonors bonus points for each U.S. dollar of all other Eligible Spending. To receive the appropriate bonus points, the merchants must submit the Charge using the appropriate industry code, merchant code, or products/service code established by American Express. If the merchant submits a Charge using a different code, the applicable Charge will only receive the bonus points corresponding to that code. Merchants with multiple locations may submit Charges at different locations using different codes. This means that Charges at some locations will qualify for additional bonus points, but Charges at other locations of the same merchant will not. Eligible Spending includes purchases of goods or services, which purchases have not been returned or otherwise rescinded, and are not subject to a credit. You will not receive HHonors bonus points for balances transferred from other accounts, purchases of American Express® Travelers Cheques or American Express® Gift Cheques, fees, Finance Charges, Cash Advances and similar means of assessing your Card Account.   3. Hilton HHonors Silver membership, with benefits as described under Hilton HHonors Membership Tiers, will be provided to all Cardmembers for the duration of Cardmembership.

CANCELLATION BY GUEST, REFUNDS

Reservations will be held until 30 minutes prior to departure. No refunds will be made in the event of "no shows", unused tickets, lost tickets, interruptions, partially used tickets, or cancellations received late or after the start of the cruise. You can ski ten of Intrawest's finest slopes in the U.S. and Canada with a handy lift ticket in your pocket. Simply redeem Hilton HHonors points for a Lift Ticket Voucher,* then exchange it for an all day lift ticket at a participating resort. There are no blackout dates, no age restrictions, and the voucher is fully transferable. *Lift ticket vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and have no cash value. US Helicopter

All US Helicopter tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any changes to tickets will incur a $50 fee for each occurrence. A ticket can be left open for a period of 90 days from date of issuance. US Helicopter can accommodate one piece of luggage per customer up to 50 pounds and no more than 62 linear inches as well as one small carry-on, such as a laptop or briefcase. Travel & Trip Cancellation Insurance Together with our insurance partner Travelguard we are happy to be able to provide you with key travel insurance coverage such as trip cancellation, interruption and delay, travel accident, personal effects, medical expenses, and hotel overbooking. IMPORTANT: Please also note that the "Collision Damage Waiver" offered by Travelguard excludes Motorcycles, ATV's, and Watercrafts.

Insurance Policies and Surcharges

State mandatory liability insurance is included in your rental. Please check with your rental stations which are the state requirements. You are not insured for Damage or Theft. EagleRider offers several options from upgrading your Liability or Damage Waiver. Please carefully check your requirements. Because motorcycle rentals are considered an exotic rental most credit cards and insurance do not transfer the same way as they do with normal car rentals. PLEASE always check your credit company or insurance company for coverage.

Supplemental Liability Insurance

Insurance protects Renter against claims made by a third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as a result of an accident. Renter supplemental Liability Insurance Benefit is $1000000.

Enhanced VIP Theft & Damage Waiver

Theft or Damage: Renters pays up to $1000 deductible / occurrence. Breakdown: Renter is provided up to $75/day for a replacement rental and refund of daily rate. Flat Tire Coverage: Covers Tire Repair and Labor. TOWING IS NOT COVERED.

VIP Theft & Damage Waiver

Collision & Theft Waiver for Motorcycle: Renter pays up to $2000 deductible / occurrence. Breakdown Protection is $35 per day for a replacement rental and refund of daily rate. Flat Tire Coverage is not included. TOWING IS NOT COVERED.

Booking Terms

  1. Reservation must be paid in full to guarantee rate and rental date.
  2. Reservations are non-refundable.
  3. Discount rates are subject to blackout dates and availability.
  4. All rental models and rates vary by location and season.

Requirements for a Motorcycle Rental

  1. You must be at least 21 years old.
  2. You must have a valid motorcycle class driver's license.
  3. You must have a major credit card.

What is Included in the Rental Rate

  1. Unlimited miles and no hourly charges.
  2. Use of vehicle for a 24 hour period.
  3. Safety Equipment.

Customer Orientation

Every client will receive orientation to the motorcycle. The client orientation will cover all aspects of safe motorcycle operation, the clients' maintenance responsibilities, local and state laws.

Storage

EagleRider will provide storage for client luggage, airline tickets, and other valuables free of charge, however at clients' risk.

Fuel

Fuel costs are client's responsibility. EagleRider claims no responsibility for motorcycle fuel consumption and mileage. Pre Pay your first tank of gas or return vehicle full. Charge of $25 if not purchased and vehicle needs refueling.

Helmets

Helmets are provided with all motorcycle rentals and all tours. Clients are encouraged to bring their own helmets for comfort and style reasons. In addition, helmets may be purchased at many of EagleRider's rental stations.

Additional Drivers

1 additional driver permitted at no extra charge. The minimum age for additional drivers is 21 and a valid motorcycle license is required.

Maintenance Responsibility

The customer is responsible for checking engine oil levels at each refueling and reporting mechanical failures immediately. Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at pick-up. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in motorcycle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance.

Motorcycle Substitution

EagleRider reserves the right to substitute the motorcycle confirmed to rental client. Should EagleRider not be able to provide confirmed motorcycle a similar or better model will be provided to the client. This constitutes the maximum liability of EagleRider.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of $1000 - $3000 will be taken at pick-up (Authorization Only). Security deposit must be processed via valid credit card.

Restrictions

Violation of listed restrictions voids all VIP Theft & Damage Waivers and client will be held liable for damages. Road Restriction: Rental street motorcycles are not allowed on gravel roads, beaches, logging or other non-public roads. Mexico Restriction: Clients cannot enter Mexico on a USA bike without written authorization or accompanied by an EagleRider Guide. Death Valley WARNING: Entering Death Valley during the months of June & August is dangerous and not recommended.

Return Policy

A rental day is 24 hours. A fee of $25/hour may apply for vehicles returned late.

Refund Policy

All confirmed rental reservations are non-refundable. No refunds on early returns.

Earning

  1. Must be a Collector of the AIR MILES Reward Program in Canada to earn AIR MILES reward miles. For AIR MILES Program terms & conditions, visit airmiles.ca
  2. 1 reward mile earned for every US$10.00 of eligible folio charges per stay, up to a maximum of 1,000 reward miles, at more than 3,000 Hilton Family hotels worldwide.
  3. AIR MILES Collectors who are HHonors Members may earn AIR MILES reward miles for up to two rooms per stay, if all eligible folio charges for both rooms are paid on one folio. AIR MILES Collectors who are not HHonors Members may earn AIR MILES reward miles on one room only per eligible stay.
  4. Earning of reward miles not subject to blackout dates or capacity controls.
  5. Eligible folio charges will be converted to U.S. dollars for the purpose of determining the number of reward miles earned per stay. Reward miles awarded for stays at participating hotels outside the U.S. will be based on local currency converted to U.S. dollars. Local currency will be converted into U.S. dollars weekly, using a published rate of exchange in effect at time of conversion. This rate will be determined at Hilton's sole discretion, based on standard currency conversion methods but may vary from currency conversion rates used by credit card companies.
  6. No partial reward miles awarded. All eligible folio charges will be rounded down to the nearest reward mile.
  7. AIR MILES Card must be presented at time of reservation or check-in to qualify for AIR MILES reward miles.
  8. Only one AIR MILES Card accepted per stay.
  9. To Double Dip® and earn both HHonors points and AIR MILES reward miles, you must be an HHonors member and an AIR MILES Collector.
  10. Allow 30-45 days from date of check-out for reward miles to be credited to your AIR MILES account.

Roundtrip Free Economy Class Ticket Certificate (48 states/Europe)

  1. Certificate will entitle the named passenger to one complimentary Economy Class roundtrip ticket from any city served by United/United Express in the 48 United States to any city served by United in Europe.
  2. No stopovers will be permitted.
  3. Reservations must be made in V class.
  4. The peak summer months (July and August) apply as blackouts.
  5. Travel is not permitted eastbound on Fridays and Saturdays; travel is not permitted westbound on Saturdays or Sundays.
